AP govt extends curfew till May-end
The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday took a decision to extend 18-hour curfew till May-end. Ministers and top officials have attended the meeting chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He reportedly told the ministers and officials that it is too early to arrive at a conclusion that positivity rate is high in the state as the complete curfew came into force ten days ago. The CM opined that curfew should be imposed at least for four weeks to bring down the positive cases. He directed the officials to identify the children, who lost their parents because of Covid-19, and address their needs.
