CBI Court adjourns Jagan bail cancellation petition, says last chance to file counter affidavit
Hyderabad: The CBI court on Monday heard the arguments over petition filed by YSRCP rebel MP K Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju seeking cancellation of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's bail in disproportionate assets case. Lawyers representing the CBI and Jagan Mohan Reddy have sought extension for filing counter affidavits. The CBI court has made it clear to them that May 26 will be the last date to submit counter affidavits and adjourned the hearing. Based on the affidavits, the court will hear further arguments. The MP filed a plea in the CBI court raising objection over granting bail to the CM.
