CM Jagan likely to take decision on lockdown today as positivity rate is still over 20%
As the two-week curfew imposed in Andhra Pradesh to stop the spread of coronavirus will be ending on Tuesday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday will be holding a crucial meeting with officials to assess its impact. According to sources, the CM expressed serious concern regarding state registering over 20 per cent positivity rate despite implementing the curfew. Officials concerned have submitted a report to the government recommending lockdown for 10 to 15 days. They said that the CM might take a decision on imposing complete lockdown to lower the positive cases.
