Telangana 10 days lockdown guidelines released; ABN Venkat Krishna's analysis
The Telangana government on Tuesday announced lockdown for ten days in the state to restrict the spread of coronavirus. The lockdown will come into effect from 10 am of May 12 to 22. As the state goes under lockdown from Wednesday, the state government has released ten-day lockdown guidelines to create awareness among people. ABN senior journalist Venkat Krishna has read out the guidelines released by the Telangana government. The full functioning of banks, ATMs, cooking gas distribution, allowing a marriage event with the participation of 40 members, permitting 20 members to attend the funeral rites, allowing public transportations including RTC, and purchasing of essential commodities from 6 to 10 am following covid norms. The state Cabinet has said no to cinema halls, clubs, gyms, amusement parks, swimming pools, sports stadiums, etc.
