Mucormycosis in Coronavirus recovered patients
The patients who recovered from the COVID-19 are fearing black fungal infections known as mucormycosis. According to the reports, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) reported six black fungal infections and they admitted to the hospital. The fungal infection caused them to lose their eyesight, the removal of jaw and nose. As per doctors, mucormycosis caused a high mortality rate last year. It is also known as zygomycosis and is caused by a group of molds known as mucormycetes. The molds are naturally present in the environment and will not transmit between people and animals.
