New Delhi: New restrictions on travellers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
New Delhi: The Delhi government has imposed restrictions on travellers coming from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to restrain the virus from further spreading. According to the statements, the people coming from Telugu states need to undergo 14 days of mandatory institutional quarantine irrespective of the mode of travelling. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) issued the orders in view of a new Corona strain found in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is stated that a new variant of Coronavirus found recently in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The new strain of the virus has a shorter incubation period and a high transmission rate. People who received two doses of the COVID vaccine and who are having negative RT-PCR tests reports will be allowed for7 days of home quarantine.
