Kamal Haasan, Kushboo fails in Tamil Nadu Assembly election

Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan has experienced defeat in the recent Tamil Nadu Assembly election. The founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam chief lost to BJP candidate Vanathi Srinivasan from the Coimbatore constituency. Political satires are aimed at actor on various social media platforms and the comparison was made between Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

On the other hand, actor turned politician Kushboo Sundar also tasted defeat in the recent Tamil Nadu Assembly election. BJP leader has lost her electoral battle against DMK candidate Dr Ezhilan Naganathan from Thousand Lights constituency. Naganathan has collected more than 58% of votes counted.
