Vizag Steel Plant privatisation row: MP Ram Mohan Naidu in Lok Sabha

TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu said in 2007 itself; the parliamentary committee has recommended that Vizag Steel Plant should have its captive mine just like other public sector undertakings. Srikakulam MP told since then; the demand is pending with the centre.

Addressing the Lok Sabha, the TDP MP has urged the centre to focus on the correct measures rather than selling VSP to the private party. He has expressed the iron ore and other raw materials needed for the Steel Plant and which are affecting the production cost. He has shared his thoughts on how VSP can be made competitive while comparing with other PSUs.
