Pakistani drone spotted in Punjab, returns after border force opens fire

A Pakistani drone entered the Indian territory at Dinda post close to Bamial along the Indo-Pak international border on Sunday. Border Security Force jawans have opened fire in its direction in Punjab's Pathankot district, and it made the drone return to the neighbouring country. A thorough search operation was carried out at the site to check whether the drone dropped anything suspicious explosives inside the Indian territory before flying back. According to the reports, nothing was found like that.
In December 2020, a drone flying in from Pakistan had dropped 11 hand grenades, and they were recovered from a field near the International Border in Punjab's Gurdaspur district.
