CM Jagan against steel plant privatisation: Botsa; says process initiated in Chandrababu rule

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana has made it clear that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is against privatisation of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). Talking to reporters, he stated that the CM had already written a letter to the Central government suggesting various options to bring the VSP into profits. The minister mentioned that process of disinvestment in the RINL had started four years ago when TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu was chief minister. He said that the AP government has no role in VSP privatisation.
