Hyderabad: 24 held for cheating over 10 lakh people for ₹1,500 crore
HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police arrested 24 persons including three government school teachers linked with Indus Viva (IndusViva HealthSciences Pvt. Ltd.) worth Rs 1,500 crore multi-level marketing business. The chain market consists of over Rs 10 lakh members across the country. Cyberabad police seized Rs 20 crore in various bank accounts. Commissioner of Police Sajjanar arrested Indus Vivas's CEO Abhilash Thomas, COO Prem Kumar, director Subramanyam, teachers Venkatesh, Kasani Shesha Rao, Manepu Hari Prasad. The teachers are on long leaves to promote multi-level marketing and earning Rs 10 lakh per month. Police took their wives also into custody. Police filed a case after receiving a complaint from a victim.
