A cup of tea costs Rs 1,000 in Kolkata

Partha Pratim Ganguly, who used to work in a private company, had quit his job and set up a tea stall ‘Nirjash’ at Mukundapur in Kolkata in 2014. His stall became famous as he sells 115 varieties of tea. Especially, a cup of tea which is being sold for Rs 1,000 has become talk of the city and now entire India. The tea is prepared from Bo-Lay tea and it costs range from Rs 50,000 to 32 lakh per kilo. “Majority of them likes to drink muscatel tea,” he stated.
