AP govt registering false cases against BJP-backed candidates in local polls: Somu Veerraju
AP BJP president Somu Veerraju alleged on Wednesday that the YSRCP government registered false cases against BJP and Jana Sena-backed candidates in gram panchayat elections. He informed the media that the state government is filing ten types of cases to threaten the opposition candidates. He enlisted some of the cases registered against them. The BJP leaders have been demanding the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh to direct the officials to accept online nominations. The process of accepting nominations for sarpanch and ward member posts in the second phase already started on Wednesday.
