TPCC chief Uttam finds fault with FM Nirmala Sitharaman's Union Budget
TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday said that there is no substantial increase in farmers’ income as told by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during her Union Budget speech in the Parliament. Speaking to the media, the Congress leader demanded the BJP-led government to allocate funds for the expansion of Metro rail services to the old city and Patancheru in Hyderabad. Uttam mentioned that the Congress MPs will raise the issue of over delay in establishing a tribal university, steel plant at Bayyaram, and railway coach factory in Kazipet in the parliament. He sought bullet train services between Hyderabad and Vijayawada via Suryapet.
