Chandrababu using Nimmagadda as pawn to win panchayat polls: Minister Peddireddi

Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy alleged that TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu is using State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as a pawn to win panchayat elections. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, the minister stated that proceedings of censure issued by Ramesh against Panchayat Raj Principal Secretary Gopal Krishna Dwivedi and Commissioner Girija Shankar were rejected by the Andhra Pradesh government and were sent back to the SEC. He stated that censure proceedings cannot be issued to IAS officers without seeking explanation from them.
