YSRCP wins chairman post of Nandyal Vijaya Dairy; Bhuma Akhila family holding control for last 25 years

The YSRCP won the chairman post of the Vijaya Dairy in Nandyal on Wednesday. Majority of 12 directors have raised their hands in favour of YSRCP-backed SV Jaganmohan Reddy for the chairman post. Former TDP minister Bhuma Akhila Priya’s grandfather Bhuma Narayana was elected as chairman for the Vijaya Dairy unanimously. Akhila Priya, who was released from jail in the kidnap case, has tried her best for the victory of Narayana. In the elections held today, presidents of 80 dairy societies have exercised their franchise. One dairy society president has abstained from voting.
