Encouraging unanimous elections to strengthen panchayats: Botsa

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana said on Wednesday that they are encouraging unanimous elections to strengthen village panchayats. Speaking to the media after conducting a review meeting with YSRCP MLAs and MLCs in Anantapur, the minister stated that the AP government is supporting the State Election Commission for conducting free and fair panchayat elections. Botsa mentioned that the main aim of the meeting is to encourage unanimous elections for ensuring peace and harmony in villages. Roads and Buildings Minister M Shankar Narayana, Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav, and YSRCP leaders were present.
