SEC Nimmagadda asks collectors to welcome unanimous panchayat polls

The video conference held by State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar with district collectors and SPs concluded on Wednesday. Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das, DGP Gautam Sawang, and Panchayat Raj officials were also part of the video conference.
The SEC gave guidelines to collectors and SPs for holding panchayat elections in a foolproof manner. He informed state government officials that central forces and employees would be drafted if the AP government’s machinery fails to cooperate in conducting panchayat elections. Nimmagadda Ramesh asked collectors to welcome unanimous elections in gram panchayats.
