Panchayat polls: Sajjala appeals to people to elect their sarpanches, ward members unanimously

AP government advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has made an appeal to people to prefer electing sarpanches and ward members unanimously. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Sajjala stated that incentives are being given for gram panchayats which elect sarpanches and ward members unanimously. He mentioned that electing sarpanches unanimously would ensure peace in villages. To a question, Sajjala said that the AP government is doing the job of the State Election Commission (SEC) by encouraging people in villages to elect their sarpanches and ward members to their panchayats unanimously.
