One farmer has died as protesting farmers clashed with police at ITO in the heart of the national capital. Thousands of protesting farmers, who entered into Delhi with their tractors on Tuesday morning, also poured into the Red Fort complex by afternoon, prompting security personnel to resort to lathicharge and tear gas. Farmers drove tractors towards the police personnel and made a way for fellow farmers to march towards the Red Fort. A farmer climbed the flagstaff of the iconic monument and hoisted the Kisan Union flag at Red Fort. However, the Delhi police brought the situation under control by today evening.
