Our lives are more important than election duties: Bopparaju

Andhra Pradesh Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu has made it clear that the government employees are not ready to involve in panchayat elections without taking vaccines for coronavirus. He stated that lives are more important than election duties for government staff. The AP JAC chairman mentioned that they may be forced to boycott poll duties even if the Supreme Court directs the AP government to extend cooperation for the State Election Commission in holding panchayat elections. He condemned the allegations of employees’ unions opposing panchayat polls at the behest of the AP government.
