Not right for SEC Nimmagadda to threaten govt employees: AP JAC chairman & APNGOA president
AP Joint Action Committee (JAC) chairman and AP Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association (APNGOA) president N Chandrasekhar Reddy on Saturday raised objection over State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh threatening government employees while addressing the media during the release of notification for panchayat elections. To a question, Chandrasekhar stated that all employees’ unions in the AP JAC are opposing the SEC’s decision to hold panchayat elections in February. He mentioned that the High Court had directed the AP government to conduct panchayat elections and vaccination simultaneously. “How is it possible to hold elections when frontline workers are involved in vaccination,” he asked.
