Farmers reject government's proposal to stay farm laws for 18 months

Protesting farmers unions rejected the Centre's proposal to hold the new three agriculture laws for one and one and a half years. Farmers said that they want to repeal the legislation. According to the reports, the farmers rejected the Centre's proposal to set up a joint committee to solve the stalemate over the new laws.
