A man who paid Rs 55 lakh to increase his height

Alfonso Flores, from Dallas, Texas, has wanted to be taller since childhood. The 28-year-old pre-med student has undergone cosmetic surgery to increase his height from 5ft 11 to 6ft 1. Harvard-trained orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kevin Debiparshad of The LimbplastX Institute in Las Vegas, performed the surgery. It helped Flores increase his height by a few inches. According to the reports, Flores opted to begin at Rs 55 lakh, and he is determined to go further if the situation demands. The surgery enhances the femur (thigh bone) or tibia (lower leg bone) in lengthening.
