Smartwatches can detect Covid-19 infection before tests - Study

At present, the doctors use the swab test to ascertain whether an individual is infected with Covid-19. There are strong indications from the technological breakthrough that some smartwatches could be used to detect coronavirus early. Two separate studies undertaken by Mount Sinai Health System in New York and Stanford University in California have confirmed the said development. Both have shown promising results detecting Covid-19 long before symptoms appear. The name of the Apple watch in early detection of Covid-19 in patients has become the talk of the town. Fitbit and Garmin are other smartwatches that have the ability to perform the same result.
