Somu Veerraju meets Mudragada, reportedly invited him to join BJP

AP BJP president Somu Veerraju on Saturday met Mudragada Padmanabham at Kirlampudi, the hometown of Kapu reservation campaigner, in East Godavari district. He reportedly invited the Kapu leader to join the BJP. Earlier, he met the former minister and TDP leader Kala Venkat Rao.
According to political analysts, Veerraju wants to strengthen the party by inviting the strong Kapu leaders and film actors into the BJP. The plan behind admitting the Kapu leaders into the BJP is to consolidate the Kapu vote bank in the next assembly elections. Recently, the BJP chief met film actress Vani Viswanath and invited her to join the party.
