Chalo Ramatheertham: Cops take Somu Veerraju, BJP & Jana Sena leaders into custody

The police on Tuesday thwarted the attempt of the BJP and Jana Sena leaders to visit the ancient Ramatheertham temple in Vizianagaram district citing Section 30 of the Police Act was imposed. Cops took AP BJP president Somu Veerraju and other BJP leaders into custody at Nellimarla and shifted them to the nearest police station. Speaking to the media, Veerraju criticised the YSRCP government for not allowing the BJP and Jana Sena leaders to visit the Ramatheertham temple when opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP MP Vijaya Sai Reddy were given permission.
