BJP will not support Rayalaseema state demand, alliance only with Jana Sena: Somu Veerraju
AP BJP president Somu Veerraju on Saturday categorically said that the BJP will not support the separate Rayalaseema state demand. Speaking to the media in Kurnool, he stated that the BJP will have an alliance only with Jana Sena. Veerraju criticised the ruling YSRCP government for failing to prevent the smuggling of red sanders logs from the Seshachalam forest in the Rayalaseema region. “The AP government must hold talks with the Karnataka state over sharing of river water so that Rayalaseema is benefitted,” he added. Veerraju mentioned that Andhra Pradesh has enormous scope for development because of the second-longest coastline in the country after Gujarat.
