TDP deputy flood leader K Atchannaidu on Thursday urged the Jagan government to withdraw the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Bill. On the fourth day of the Assembly winter session, Atchannaidu stated that former chief ministers YS Rajasekhara Reddy and N Kiran Kumar Reddy have tried to take up resurvey of lands but failed. He mentioned that the bill was rejected by the President of India as provision was not given to people for approaching civil courts in case of a dispute. However, Revenue Minister Dharmana Krishna Das said that they made changes in the Land Titling Bill. He requested the TDP to support the Bill as resurvey is being taken for purification of land records and to curb disputes.
