Murder attempt case: Police serve notice on former TDP minister Kollu Ravindra

The police served notice on former TDP minister Kollu Ravindra in connection with the murder attempt case registered against TDP supporter Badugu Nageswara Rao. Meanwhile, the local court granted two days of police custody to grill the accused. Nageswara Rao had allegedly tried to kill Transport Minister Perni Venkataramaiah with a trowel at his residence in Machilipatnam on Sunday morning. The police will also be questioning the accused’s sister and TDP leader Uma Devi and other local TDP leaders, who were identified based on the mobile call data of the accused.
