Social media post: Nara Lokesh faults police for registering case against TDP activist

TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh criticised the police for registering a case against TDP activist Maniratnam for a social media post. Maniratnam had shared a video on social media regarding the inauguration of an incomplete wall by the YSRCP MLA. Lokesh alleged that police shifted Maniratnam to the police station and made him sign blank papers. The Guntur Urban SP said that Maniratnam was picked up for questioning and later he was let off. Lokesh asked SP as to who gave powers to police to question citizens over social media posts.
