Ram Gopal Varma rejects director Rajamouli’s green challenge

Director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has stirred a controversy by rejecting the Indian Green Challenge thrown by director SS Rajamouli. In a tweet, he said, “I am neither into green nor into challenges and I hate touching mud. The plants deserve a much better person, not a selfish being like me.” RGV wished Rajamouli and his plants all the best. Rajamouli has nominated RGV and other directors Puri Jagannadh and VV Vinayak to take the challenge forward. It was for the first time that a film personality has rejected the challenge.
