YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy complains AICTE against Gitam university

AMARAVATI: YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy wrote a complaint to the chairman of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) against Gitam University violations in the construction of buildings. MP Vijayasai Reddy requested the chairman to constitute any committee to visit Gitam university to examine that the university following the AICTE norms and standards or not. He mentioned in the letter that Gitam University constructed the building in the government lands violating the norms of AICTE. He mentioned that the university obtained Land use and Building plan approval certificates illegally. Earlier, the authorities demolished the wall and other structures of the university citing illegal constructions.
