Dubbaka bypoll: Cong candidate Cheruku levels allegations against BJP’s Raghunandan Rao

Speaking to the media after casting vote at Tukkapur, Dubbaka bypoll Congress candidate Cheruku Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday alleged that a rape case registered against BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao. Srinivas has accused Raghunandan of spreading false lies against him by posting a video on social media using a logo of a prominent Telugu news channel. The Congress leader criticised the BJP for giving a ticket to a leader, who is facing rape charges. Cheruku came down heavily on Minister Harish Rao for speaking in support of late MLA Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy’s kin. He urged the Governor to dismiss Harish from the cabinet.
