Andhra Pradesh government bans carrying of liquor bottles into the state
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh government imposed a ban on carrying liquors from outside the state and issued orders prohibiting the people carrying liquor bottles into the state. According to the reports, the government issued the orders 45 days after the state High Court order allowing the people to carry three liquor bottles into the state. Many people complained that the liquors available in the state are tastier and after hearing a PIL the High Court directed the government to allow people carrying three liquor bottles into the state. Rajat Bhargav, the Prohibition and excise department special chief secretary on Tuesday issued the notification prohibiting carrying the liquor bottles.
