GITAM row: Minister Botcha refutes Ayyanna Patrudu’s political vendetta charges
Responding to the demolition of structures and seizing the land belonging to the GITAM by the AP government, TDP leader Ayyanna Patrudu said that the Visakhapatnam became more famous because of the GITAM. “About 60,000 students were placed in jobs abroad after completing education in GITAM,” he stated. However, Municipal Administration Minister Botcha Satyanarayana has refuted the TDP’s political vendetta charges. He mentioned that the state government had served notice six months ago. As the GITAM did not respond to the notice, the GVMC officials have seized the 38 acres of land encroached by the varsity.
