Minister Perni Nani slams trollers over hefty fines for traffic violations
Transport Minister Perni Nani on Saturday justified the steep hike in fines imposed for violation of traffic rules. Addressing the media, the minister slammed the TDP leaders and social media trolls demanding to repair damaged roads first before implementing traffic rules. Nani stated that damaged roads are in no way connected to imposing the traffic challans. He mentioned that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released Rs 2,500 crore for road repair works. “Damaged roads will be repaired once the winter month starts,” he added. The minister criticised the TDP leaders for making fun of CM over the increase in the amount of traffic penalties.
