People voted YSRCP to power opposing development in Amaravati alone: Botcha
Minister for Municipal Administration Botcha Satyanarayana on Friday said that the TDP has failed to develop Amaravati as capital in its rule. In ‘News Watch’ live programme with Murali Krishna, the minister stated that only 10 per cent of Rs 1.5 lakh crore was spent towards capital construction. Out of Rs 5,000 crore, Rs 400 crore was paid to consultancy firms, he mentioned. To a question, Botcha mentioned that the Jagan government is committed to development of three capitals. He said that people have voted YSRCP to power as they opposed development in Amaravati alone.
