Pawan Kalyan demands AP govt to pay compensation to farmers for crop loss
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Thursday said it was unfortunate that standing crops in Andhra Pradesh have submerged due to heavy rains and floods. He demanded the AP government to pay the entire investment of farmers as compensation. The Jana Sena chief criticised the YSRCP government for showing negligence in paying compensation to farmers. “Farmers are yet to receive compensation for the previous year,” he pointed out. Pawan Kalyan stated that the preliminary estimation of crop loss by the AP government was 2.71 lakh acres. He mentioned that the Jana Sena leaders will soon visit the flood-hit farm fields for enumeration.
