Indian Army captures Chinese soldier in Ladakh area

The Indian Army captured a Chinese soldier near Demchok area of Ladakh on Monday morning. According to the initial reports, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier was carrying civil and military documents when he was captured in Ladakh by the Indian Army. The Chinese soldier is a Corporal-rank soldier and a resident of Shangxizhen town of central Zhejiang province in China. He is an armorer, who repairs firearms, in the PLA. The Indian Army took him into its custody after capturing him. The agencies are investigating if the Chinese soldier was on an espionage mission.
