CID serves notice to Bhuma Akhila Priya, Byreddy
The CID served notice to five persons including former minister and TDP leader Bhuma Akhila Priya and BJP leader Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy for making allegations against Kurnool YSRCP MLA Hafeez Khan. They alleged that the MLA was responsible for the spread of coronavirus by visiting a quarantine centre in Kurnool. Based on the complaint of Hafeez Khan, the CID registered a case and served notices to them. The investigating agency has asked Akhila Priya and Byreddy to appear before them for questioning. Byreddy alleged that the CID registered a case against him for writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
