TDP leaders stage stir at Alipiri, security tightened from airport to Tirumala route
The TDP leaders staged a stir at Alipiri on Wednesday, demanding Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to sign the non-Hindu declaration form before entering the Tirumala temple. The BJP functionaries also organsied a dharna in Tirupati. However, the police took the protesting leaders into custody and tightened the security on the road leading from the Renigunta Airport to Tirumala. In Hyderabad, Bajrang Dal activists tried to lay siege to the residence of YS Jagan but they were arrested by the police. The CM would be presenting silk clothes to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple today evening.
