Andhra Pradesh: Schools to partially reopen from today
AMARAVATI: After a gap of more than five months due to the Coronavirus pandemic, schools and junior colleges are going to reopen from today in Andhra Pradesh. According to the reports, teachers and lecturers must visit their respective schools and colleges on the first day and from day 2, 50 per cent staff must attend the schools and colleges to take part in online classes, Vidya Varadhi, Tele-counselling and other programmes. Only students and teachers, lecturers residing outside the containment zones will be allowed to the schools voluntarily to clear their doubts. Only the students from class 9th to 12th are allowed to visit the schools and colleges to clear the doubts on a voluntary basis. The students must submit written consent from their parents to their schools. The students from class 1st to 8th are not allowed to the schools and they need to take online classes from their houses. School authorities should take necessary preventive measures and should follow the COVID-19 guidelines.
