Rajya Sabha: TDP MP Kanakamedala seeks more govt homoeopathy colleges for AP
During the discussion over the Homoeopathy Central Council (Amendment) Bill, 2020 in Rajya Sabha on Friday, TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar requested the Central government to sanction more government homoeopathy medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. He mentioned that the state has five homoeopathy medical colleges in which two are run by private managements. The MP also urged the Centre to accord the ‘Institute of National Importance’ status to the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences at Vijayawada. He concluded his speech by supporting the amendments to the Homoeopathy Central Council Bill.
