GVL condemns house arrest of BJP leaders
BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao on Friday condemned the house arrest of the BJP leaders to prevent them from participating in the ‘Chalo Amalapuram’ protest against the desecration of Hindu idols at Pithapuram in East Godavari district. He faulted for arresting the BJP activists and registering non-bailable cases against them. “The present AP government and previous TDP government have adopted anti-Hindu stand,” he alleged. The MP warned of intensifying protest against the ruling YSRCP government by unifying Hindus. MP CM Ramesh said that any political party in democracy has the right to protest.
