Lok Sabha: YSRCP demands CBI probe into Amaravati land deals, AP Fibernet

In the Lok Sabha, YSRCP floor leader and MP P V Mithun Reddy on Wednesday demanded the Central government to order for the CBI probe into the Amaravati land scam. He informed the House that the Cabinet Sub-Committee and SIT constituted by the AP government have confirmed insider trading in the purchase and sale of 4,000 acres in Amaravati.
The MP stated that the then Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had misled Amaravati farmers by giving leaks Tiruvuru as AP capital. Several TDP leaders had purchased lands from farmers in Amaravati for lesser price, he stated. Mithun also sought the CBI investigation into Rs 2,000 crore fraud in the AP Fibernet Limited.
