Jabardasth Vinodini interviews dance master Shiva Shankar

Jabardasth lady getup comedian Vinodini has interviewed dance master Shiva Shankar in Chennai. Asked about his entry into the dancing profession, Shiva Shankar stated that his father had sent him to the residence of Nataraj-Shakuntala couple, a famous dancing duo at Mylapore in Chennai, to learn dance. “My father took the decision to make me as a dancer after consulting famous astrologer T Sundaram and seven other astrologers,” he recalled. Shankar mentioned that he learned classical dance for seven years and made arangetram. He also worked as dance master for hundreds of films.
