Rafale fighter jets to be inducted into Indian Air Force today

The newly acquired Rafale fighter jets will officially induct by Indian Airforce on Thursday from the airbase in Ambala, Haryana. According to the reports, it will take part in IAF's 17 Squadron. Florence Parly, Minister of the Armed Forces of France will be the chief guest and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the event.
On 27th July 2020, the first Rafale reached Ambala from France. It is said that a traditional water cannon salute will be given to Rafale fighter jets. Rafale got prominence after present border disputes between India and China and it would be a game-changer.
