Pawan Kalyan demands AP govt to pay full compensation to Gandikota Project oustees
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday demanded the AP government to pay full compensation to residents of 16 villages which would be submerged once the capacity of Gandikota reservoir was increased to 23 tmcft. He stated that it was not right on part of the YSRCP government to evacuate Gandikota oustees without paying compensation. “I was hurt for using police force against a project displaced when they are staging a protest for justice,” he stated. Pawan Kalyan mentioned that not paying compensation to oustees of the district represented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will send a wrong signal.
