Nara Lokesh slams YSRCP govt over fixing electricity meters for farm motors

TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh came down heavily on the YSRCP government for its decision to fix electricity meters for motors of farmers falling under the free power scheme. He recalled that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy supporting ‘Sakshi’ newspaper had written reports opposing fixing of power meters to farm motors during the then Congress government led by N Kiran Kumar Reddy. The TDP MLC alleged that the AP government is getting ready to burden the farmers by introducing cash transfer into their accounts for payment of electricity bills.
